Nasser Bouzida is a British musician, songwriter, Producer, artist and filmmaker whose career span is more than three decades. Best known as cofounder and front man And principal songwriter of acclaimed Hammond organ band Big Boss Man, he has built a reputation for blending 1960s inspired funk, Latin soul, rhythm and blues, ska, Reggae and psychedelia into a distinctive And instantly recognisable sound.
Alongside Big Boss Man Nasser has developed Several acclaimed recording projects. As the Bongolian, he has released a series of instrumental albums influenced by library music cinematic soundtracks, funk and Latin jazz. Big Boss sound explores the rich traditions of Jamaican scar rocksteady and early reggae reflecting a lifelong passion for vintage Jamaican music, he has also released solo records and his own name including albums on spin out nuggets records showcasing his love of garage rock Soul rhythm and blues and 1960s expired songwriting.
In addition to his own own recordings he has worked extensively as a Session musician contributing to recordings including Moorecheeba’s The Antidote he has has also composed production music for international music libraries, including the Wolff music and Cues4u for you remixes for Paul Weller with his work license or television film at other media.
